MFEI engaged community college students, faculty, administrators and industry partners from several Bay Area community college campuses to address the lack of representation of BIPOC students in tech-related coursework resulting in student-centered systems improvement tactics, ultimately increasing the number and diversity of BIPOC students receiving training and education to meet employment needs of local industry partners and pursue viable career options.
